Fish Original Lino Print

Hand printed original linocut print featuring a fish.

I went into this one with no clear idea of how I was going to execute it, I just allowed myself the freedom to figure it out as I went. How could I make the gouges look like scales? I was very pleased with the outcome and it remains one of my favourite prints.

Printed on Arches Hot Pressed Watercolour paper using professional quality Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Oil-Based Ink.

Printed area size: 15(W)x10.5(H)cm

Due to the process and nature of linocut printing, there will be slight variations from one print to the next (eg., lighter areas, different alignment). This is part of the originality of your artwork, and lends it a uniqueness that makes it special. 

This print comes unframed. Your print will be mailed in a rigid cardboard mailer with a backing board which can be re-used or recycled and protected from moisture with a cello bag.
