Arts, crafts and whimsical woodland notions have followed me my whole life. I've dabbled variously in textile arts like knitting, crochet and sewing, made things from clay including clay/crystal jewellery, drawn and painted, while never settling long on one or the other. Enter lino printing - something I dabbled with (like most) in high school and a short arts and crafts course I took in my late teens, and which it suddenly occured to me in my mid-thirties to try again. 

I loved everything about it - the smells of the linoleum and the inks, the way it took my simple sketches and transformed them into something more polished, how every line carved shapes the outcome in ways you could never predict.
