Original linocut print featuring a Spanish Moon Moth, finished with watercolours.

What an ethereal creature this moth is!, like an art nouveau stained glass window. I really wanted to capture that here by adding watercolour.

Printed on Arches Hot Pressed Watercolour paper using professional quality Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Oil-Based Ink, finished with traditional Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours.

Due to the process and nature of linocut printing, there will be slight variations from one print to the next (eg., lighter areas, different alignment). This is part of the originality of your artwork, and lends it a uniqueness that makes it special. 

This print comes unframed. Your print will be mailed in a rigid cardboard mailer with a backing board which can be re-used or recycled and protected from moisture with a cello bag.
